About the Author

Beverly Morgan has been involved with breastfeeding since 1973. She trained as a breastfeeding counselor for La Leche League International in 1979, received board certification as a lactation consultant (IBCLC) from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners in 1986,  and became a certified lactation educator (CLE) through the University of California at Los Angles (UCLA) Extension, Division of Nursing, Department of Continuing Education in Health Sciences, the UCLA School of Medicine in 1989. A mother who breastfed her children,  she writes about breastfeeding, presents conference sessions and seminars, and maintains a private practice as a lactation consultant in San Jose, California.
